Floor plans are a crucial piece of information for an interior design project as it shows the client the scaled furniture and how the scheme will come together. This way the client knows that what they are purchasing will fit in their home without it looking out of proportion.

FLOOR PLANS

after construction dining area

What a huge difference! The dining area is far more spacious and filled with light!

These doors were replaced with bi-folding doors modernising the space, allowing more light into the room and creating flow between the dining room between the garden and the open plan area.

This is the dining room before which lacked inspiration, the client's personality and was too small an area for what the client needed.

The design brief for this dining area was to have lovely family dinners, a place to socialise and a spot for children's homework, crafting and painting. The client also loved to have fun colours which were brought in with fun styling pieces and artwork.

We draw floor plans to scale so that the client can see the spatial planning and dimensions of all items.

With my designs I show the client exactly where all items should be placed and positioned.

FLOOR PLANS

To the right of the island we have the dining area lit brightly from the garden. It feels uplifting and inviting.

The kitchen island faces the open lounge area which feels welcoming and a treat to curl up on the sofa!

A  completely different space! Spacious, inspiring and modern exactly what the client needed for her young family. Professional photos to come!

after construction

The same room has been knocked through to create a wide open space!

The walls have been demolished and the wall knocked through creating the spacious large open plan kitchen, dining and living area.

Before image of the living room which was barely used. The wall on the left was knocked down to create an open kitchen, dining and living room.

Before image of the kitchen through the dining area. As you can see the kitchen is in need of updating and by making this area bigger and provides the family the space they need.

Before and during construction

The design brief for this kitchen was a warm, welcoming and sociable kitchen which allowed my clients, a young family who needed space, practicality and a modernised space.
